To avert a major and social economic collapse in Afghanistan. International aid has been blocked to Afghanistan since the Taliban returned to power following the withdrawal of US and Other international troops after 20 years of wars. The country's assets held abroad have been frozen, while food prices and employment is rising, promoting warnings of a humanitarian disaster once winer arrives. About 80% of Afghanistan's economy is informal with women playing an overwhelming role and without them there is no way the Afghanistan economy and society will recover.
International aid that accounted for 75% of the State spending. The country is grappling with Liquidity crisis as assets remain frozen in the US and other countries.
Taliban stopped women to work,and girls to have access to all level of education.
What is G20?
G20 stand for "Group of 20" is global grouping of world's major economies for the economic and financial cooperation.
- In 1999, It was formed in the wake of 1997 global economic crisis, the G7 finance ministers announced the creation of group of 20 to include other countries in their discussion related to global economy. The first meeting was held in the same year ( 1999).
- In 2008, during to finance crisis the US announced to expand the participants to the Heads of the State and Government.
- It is a main forum for global economic and financial cooperation

- It meet every year in ministerial and government level.

- Road improvement projects include 1.2 km long tunnel between Purana Quila road (near Pragati Maidan) and Ring road (near Pragati Power station )
- Six underground U-turns on Mathura Road and Bhairon Marg.
- The projects was was approved by the cabinet Committee of Economic Affairs in January 2017.
- It will be completed in August 2022.
