- vein carries blood to the heart from the whole body
- Arteries supply pure oxygenated blood to the body organs
- veins supply blood impure, waste di-oxygenated blood to the heart
- Arteries are red in colour, thick in size, present deep in the body.
- Veins are blue in colour, thin in size, and present near the skin.
- Due to pumping of heart pressure in arteries are high
- in veins bloods are supplied by the capillary action due to which pressure are less comparatively.
