Measures taken by India:
- Delhi Regional security dialogue on Afghanistan : in this dialogue Russia, Iran and all the central Asian nations are participating. India playing a leadership role to sustain Regional cooperation as India is engaged since 2001 with Afghanistan through ties.
- Russia remains concerned about the spread of radicalism and extremism to its peripheries in Central Asia
- Iran's worry is persecution of Shia minorities and the refugee crisis
- Pakistan and China are not participating in the dialogue on 10 November 2021
- Central Asian nations like Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tazikistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan are participating in the dialogue.
- It is an eight member countries dialogue that consists of :
- India
- Iran
- Russia
- Turkmenistan
- Kazakhstan
- Uzbekistan
- Kyrgyzstan
- Tazikistan
Declarations/ commitments/ pledges: outcome of dialogue are:
- To combat terrorism emanating from Afghanistan- in all its form and manifestations, including its financing, dismantling of terrorist infrastructure and countering radicalism
- Open and inclusive government in Kabul with representation from all sections of the society: there is a need to form an open and truly inclusive government.
- Not to interfere its internal affairs
- Respecting Afghanistan sovereignty, unity, integrity.
- Protection of rights of women, child and minorities
- To support humanitarian assistance
Note : it is a continuous of Regional dialogue first two in 2018, 2019 were chaired by the Iran.
